About PR4PR

PR4PR is intended to provide the opportunity of transformation for children and young residents of low-income and high risk communities. PR4PR is composed of a group of professionals and volunteer leaders that cherish the same concern.

Our organization has partnered with different entities both private and public, working for the welfare of our children. We are currently working in collaboration with the State Police Department as well as San Juan Police Department’s Athletic Leagues in developing educational, cultural and recreational activities.

PR4PR was officially incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico in May 2004. For the past eleven (11) years, even before PR4PR was established, we have been working with children and young people, teaching them tolerance, self-respect and empowerment.

We have sponsored over twenty (20) summer camps and have also financially supported many other activities.
We have served many communities of the San Juan area including, but not limited to:
San Jose, Barriada Figueroa, Tras Talleres, Country Club, Hoare Sector, Puerta de Tierra, Puerto Nuevo, Alto del Cabro Sector, Caimito, Barrio Obrero, Villa Palmera, Barriada Venezuela, Playita sector, El Guano, El Chícharo sector, La Perla, and various housing projects such as: Luis Lloréns Torres, Manuel A. Pérez, Las Margaritas and Bartolomé de las Casas.

A note from our founder

PR4PR is all about our kids.  We want to ensure that during their free time, they have a positive and secure environment where they can fortify their minds and bodies.

We say “children are our future”, but they don’t raise themselves.  We have to set a path for them to follow, to lead them into good citizens."
